Gra-dol HudrekThe Goblin Druid
(he/him) Gra-dol ("Gray Sheep" in Goblin) Hudrek is a friend to both the Sheepfriends and Petalsniffers guilds, and a druid of the Circle of the Deathbloom. He is 100cm (3'3" tall), of slight build. He has gray skin (thus the name), and a wild tuft of bright purple hair. He carries a large shaman's staff in his right hand, and has a bouquet of brightly colored flowers behind his left shoulder. He wears simple leathers, with a sheepskin cloak. He has a very laid-back attitude, and seems to have a perpetual smile, and a profound obsession with flowers. This obsession comes a tragic event in his youth.
Gra-dol was from a large family who lived in Westgate to the north, but many of his family members died when a mysterious plague descended on the city. Many of the inhabitants fled into the forest, where they found refuge with a clan of druids, who gave Gra-dol shelter and provided him with training in the druidic arts. Upon returning to Westgate, he found that the potters' fields in which members of his family and many of the victims of the plague had been buried were now filled with a vast array of colorful wildflowers. He now always carries these wildflowers with him, as a reminder of his love for his family, and a reminder that death always brings with it the hope of new life. Always optimistic and hopeful, he hopes one day to find the source of the plague which hit Westgate, and to eradicate it. |
